My solar pays for my entire house every month and I have to pay $35 a month for a connection fee. Duke uses it like a banking system and If have any excess at the end of the year, it reflects as a credit on the next bill. I also was told that bill is for new solar customers so if you already have solar when it passes, you still get the same rates. Not sure if true?
