He should not even have to ask for them regardless if he tells her her crime or not! Geeze, I always have my stuff ready as an officer is walking up. Never ever had a negative experience with a police officer even dealt with a few who weren’t pleasant ( attitude) I still gave no cause to escalate or make his life more difficult and especially my own. You don’t argue on the side of the road regardless take your ticket and move on! Unless she knows she’s busted
