utilities are the only publicly traded companies that charge their customers for the upkeep of their infrastructure. instead of one charge that includes the cost of doing business, they charge for the electricity, gas or whatever then add transmission fees, generation fees grid fees etc... but still make a profit. seems to me they need to use that profit from selling the commodity and use that as their cost of doing business

yellow electric party people's got you by the balls because if you don't pay them you can't have it and then when you get solar panels I still upgrade you by the balls so that's not right I don't think they should have just one person giving power or one person giving water and stuff that's a monopoly
