i use not my mothers cream and gel (level 2), i part the top of my hair from the sides of my forehead back (at the end you’ll split the top in 4-5 sections) and for the hair on the sides and back, split from the back pull all the hair to its side. then for the sides i just split it in half. i use a bounce curl brush, start at the base, get the hair in the groves, and go up. always make sure your hair is soaking, there’s enough cream, and i use lots of gel. clip your top part with a claw clip to get that volume on top, let the gel cast form, fully air dry, once dry, scrunch cast and your curls should look really good. i sleep with a “vsco” girl bun 😭, when i take it out a spray a little water, and then for the days leading on spraying water is your bsf, it’s going to look crazy when you spray and it’s not dry, but once your curls soak it in, it should look good
