I have a non-verbal 17-year-old with severe learning difficulties and autism, I’m not sure I could watch the series, too close to home. Though I did always wonder, as he grew up, why we were never stopped given the number of times we must’ve been seen hurrying home with him slung over my shoulder going absolutely ballistic.

This series meant the world to me - my son is the same. Need to laugh or you’ll break. Well you’ll break eventually but it’s nice to know you’re not alone.

As a carer, we were once encouraged to hand out cards explaining to public, we've had one guy been called the police on, one banned from Tesco, public complaints to the service, but once they understand it's all good. But those meltdowns look so distressing if you're not exposed to it

funny but has a serious side to it 🥺 just shows some situations are parents are trying to safe guard their child doing the up most best but takes 1 person to get the wrong end of the situation
