Ultimately this is the mother’s house. So if the mother is supporting her daughter while she’s in nursing school, the brother doesn’t get a say in that.

My husband and I both work full time manual labor jobs with an average day work time of 15 hours we still work on the house together I hate dishes so he dose dishes and he hates laundry so I do laundry there is also certain skills one is better at then the other so that becomes that persons job because of so no excuses

I don’t like how the title makes it sound like the brother is just a bum. Work does take a lot out of a person & I’m sure his stuff would pile up if he lived alone. But, they don’t.. I would suggest a family meeting to talk about dividing the house load.. does OP also work and pay bills or just go to school? They never indicated that. I believe the issue here on both sides is showing and feeling appreciation for each other.
