If you’ve served your time and paid your “debt to society” then when you’re done, you’re done. Your constitutional rights shouldn’t be suspended forever.

I agree with this, however, unfortunately in MY opinion someone like jelly roll who has been arrested not 1 not 2, not 20!!! but 40 times!! at that point, I honestly think they should've just thrown away the key at that point.. but glad he was able ro turn his life around... however a firearm is definitely a right.. but its a PRIVILEGED right. especially with the things he was arrested for... this shouldnt even be a discussion lol..

If our president can be a felon and have access to a entire military then people whom have served their time and rehabilitated should be able to start over

A felony follows you for life you do your time get out can’t vote have to put the crime down job applications can’t own a firearm I mean you do your time when you get out it should be over with unless you K(LL someone or you know other crimes

I'm theory I think all felons should be 100% forgiven upon release, if you are worried they will commit another crime then they are not rehabilitated and should not be released in the first place

My BIL fell asleep in a car while he was drunk. The car wasn’t his, but he legit didn’t steal it. He passed out in a stranger’s car when he was 18. Small town judge put felony charge if grand theft auto. Dud NEVER committed another crime. It took until he was 50 to get the record expunged.

You do have redemption. You just can’t have a gun. Why do you need a gun if you have everything else. You have security.
