I tell all of my children, how papa used to love this, his favorite foods were this, that every holiday papa did this. Then we do those things/eat food/enjoy activities. I silently invite his spirit to my home during these times as well.

I’ll light a candle and say a prayer and remember how we were . How we loved each other and had our children …the things we done the homes we put together , how hard we worked . Together, Just being together for each other , You are very missed and loved

Every Christmas I always think of my paternal grandfather he loved decorating for Christmas and every Christmas I always wonder how he would have done his display better than before and others too my paternal grandmother and other dead relatives too
