I think the main experience is you are on the actual track… which for big fans it’s amazing… also did you have the radio on that does add to the experience

The first ever time they did lap of lights in 2020 when it was Covid it was amazing as it was new & the only place to ever do it so had all the best lights & lasers. Ever since then it’s got worse & worse!

We loved it!! We tuned into their radio which definitely made it! Also did you go through the Hilton and go into pit lane for the Christmas markets, bar and the displays of f1 cars??

I went last night and was also underwhelmed, however I was at the front which I think was better as I had no traffic in front. Also I’m a HUGE f1 fan, so for me being on the actual track in my car and driving where the actual drivers drive was a big fan girl moment which made it worth it! But I totally agree, the lights were nothing extravagant x

I feel the only good experience was actually driving round Silverstone - which is GREAT in itself, maybe not at 5mph though 😅 I felt like it was the biggest con!! At £75 a car too I expected more with the lights etc

Can’t believe how gutted people are! We are a family of F1 fans and just driving around the track was incredible for us! Our 15 year old opened the door and touched the track! We were all in awe 🫢 sorry you were disappointed 😞

People do live in them, it’s called the Escapades, they cost £2mil to buy and on high profile race weekends, they’re not allowed to be there unless they purchase a weekend ticket! (Or that was the original stipulation when the houses were first put on the market)

It just doesn’t reflect the price. It’s “okay” but I think 10/15£ a car is more reasonable. But for what we paid it was just not worth it at all x

I paid £60 and was my first time going as was the same disappointed as wasn’t the “lap of lights” I had seen all over tik tok and advertised we did enjoy the food area though :-) x

We had free tickets one year for working for the nhs and we were still so disappointed even though the tickets were free! We got to the end and was like surely that’s not it! We were convinced it hadn’t started 😂😂

we loved it and have stayed a few days. we are huge f1 fans so just driving on the track alone was the most exciting part for us. the elf radio was so fun too and getting to walk down the pitlane without thousands of people like usual was surreal.

We had the best time! It was a bit pricey as you pay by car, but we really loved it. I downloaded the game you can do whilst you go round, at every stop you get a trivia question or have to upload a photo and we listened to radio Silverstone. All of that really added to our time there. Gutted you guys didn’t enjoy! 🥺

went tonight, paid £75 and was quite underwhelmed, driving round the track was a DREAM as an f1 Fan. also think the radio was good. but it was so overpriced, preferred the pit lane stuff but being able to say “i’ve driven round silverstone” is cool.

Glad it wasn’t just us who thought this! We’re always positive about experiences and would normally roll our eyes at a video like this but honestly was so disappointing and couldn’t agree with you more. Especially considering the very first lap of lights was way better than this time round!

Ahhh…we loved it!! Did you tune into the elf radio while driving round? Also, did you park up and go into the garages, pit lanes, food trucks etc…through the hotel? Tbf we were just excited to be on the track lol xx
