Allow me to share a few more tips as an aspiring psychiatric nurse and someone undergoing his own mental health recovery journey ❤️    Learn not to regret things - Every thing you've done, including the times you messed up really badly, you did because you knew no better. To your knowledge at the time that was the BEST possible decision you could've made.     Don't bottle things up - It's a reality that not everyone has access to a therapist. That however doesn't mean you can't begin to work on your trauma on your own. Journaling, talking to a close friend, heck - even venting your thoughts out loud are all forms of processing you can do until you get to meet a therapist.
