It would be awesome if you could do a skit where the vehicle is under warranty but you have to get a signature for 1 hr diag just in case it’s related to any damage and see their temper flare.

I’ve had a guy have a warrenty but didn’t keep up with the maintenance so warrenty didn’t cover his rear diff replacement. That sucked.

warranty admin here I've had claims where the dealer didn't do the paperwork or sold cars with mods and mods void the warranty it's a crazy business

I had full coverage warranty on a car I got 2 months prior to transmission going out… dealership said it wasn’t covered when I took it in. I said “the warranty guy I spoke with at YOUR dealership specifically said transmission is covered.” They ended up covering it as a courtesy for the warranty guy’s misspoken statement.

My awful Hyundai DCT blew up. They took a month to do it no loaner. Gave me the run around until I posted a bad review and Sales got ahold of it. Magically in two days my car was ready

at least here in Canada Québec when we buy a car at a dealership and the mileage is under 100,000km we have guarantee national. all cars under that amount come with it and sometimes they offer it 160,000km. 😅

lets be honest third party warrentys gonna come back - say they'll only pay for a USED transmissions the customers gonna freak out , you're gonna spend 2 weeks going back & worth with them , until they finally agree to get their client a new one ( like they should ! ) you're gonna goto parts its gonna be 3-4 months out , and atleast one part will be back ordered. in the mean time since your customer doesn't have a car for a couple months , he's gonna trade it in , sales will accept it for SOME reason then sales is gonna be down your throat wondering when its getting fixed because they wanna sell it

My 2024 #Honda #Ridgeline was in for electrical and limp mode repairs 9 times within the 36k manufacturers warranty without resolve.... now at 15 dealership visits and need a wire harness which isn't covered under warranty anymore. Thankfully I DID buy the extended service contract that does cover the harness ❤
