@thejesusfrequency: This verse is often read as exclusion. But that reading comes from later theology, not language, culture, or history. Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Greek. The Gospel of John was written decades later, expressing Jesus’ meaning for a new audience... not recording word-for-word conversations. This isn’t about removing Jesus... it’s about understanding him in context. #truthseeker #thetruthwillsetyoufree #followme #jesusteachings #spiritualawakening
I was shown this truth a few years ago. All because the spirit of truth led me to walk away from the church interpretations, cut off distractions and tune into the ringing in my ears. We are to embody the Christ Frequency held in our DNA and not be enslaved by disempowering doctrines.

It simply meant Jesus is the only mediator between Humans and the Father.. Simple. Nothing hidden, Salvation is thru Grace by Faith in Christ only, not by works( How we walk, behave, etc) It is a free gift, not a reward.

With respect, John 14:6 is not a symbolic language about awareness or embodiment - it is an exclusive claim. Jesus does not say “I show a way” or “I model the truth.” He says: “I AM the way, the truth, and the life.” Then He removes all ambiguity: “No one comes to the Father except through Me.” If Jesus only meant “a lifestyle” or “alignment,” that final sentence would be unnecessary - and misleading. This isn’t about language alone. It’s about meaning plus context.
Throughout John’s Gospel, Jesus is repeatedly accused of making Himself equal with God (John 5:18; 10:33). He never corrects this - He intensifies it. Yes, Jesus taught a way of living-but He grounded that way in who He is, not merely what he demonstrates. Christian faith has always held both: 1. embodied obedience
2. and the unique identity of Christ. Removing exclusivity doesn’t “restore” the message- it rewrites it. Language study should deepen truth, not flatten it.

I love this because so many Christians, including me, were taught Jesus was perfect and God-like in an unattainable way. I never believed I could get anywhere close to that so felt shame and guilt. I performed to appear instead of embracing a path of truth. The rules were always paramount but now I face my entire self and have learned to love all of me. My heart is honest now and I feel more worthy than ever. Not perfect but worthy. Forgiveness and Compassion for others is so natural for me now because I gave those things to myself first. Thank you as always for such inspiring posts❤️

I would cringe when I would hear my Christian brothers and sisters rebuke a non Christian and condemning them to hell… The fruits of the Spirit and the definition of Love in Corinthians is what I strive for and surrender to. I have always seen this passage in John as: “I am LOVE and my words are the only way to renew your mind and be transformed” 🙏🏽❤️I have also learned that I must heal and love myself in order to love others.

Unfortunately this 'misinterpretation ' by the Christians was pretty damaging to humanity.

One does not need a mediator. one only needs to look within and live by the example give to be even like him as well as all the women who also follow the path within.

This is good understanding. However, you miss an important point. No one comes to God, except through Jesus because of Jesus is sacrifice which enable this. This is the deep meaning of the statement.

False. You cannot even enter into the presence of the Father without being cleansed of sins (Roman’s, Hebrews all discussed this), you cannot absolve yourself of sin. Christ was saying in order to come to the Father you must accept the gift of salvation and follow Him. He makes it crystal clear He has come for the forgiveness of the worlds sins.

Jesus was telling people that The Father he knew wasnt known on Earth ... thats why one had to go through him to find The Father. Jesus knew The Father was of no religion and he was silenced while telling people this.

I love the emphasis on living like Jesus, that’s totally biblical! But John 14:6 isn’t just about imitating His lifestyle. Jesus says HE Himself is the way, no one comes to the Father except through personal trust in Him (see vv. 7–11, John 3:16–18, Acts 4:12). The Aramaic re-reading is beautiful meditation, but it softens the verse’s exclusive claim about who Jesus is
