I know a person that has never told me their pronouns and introduced to me with their birth name (we're clasmates) but I know that they use they/them pronouns and uses another name. ¿Should I use the name I know they uses or just their birth name bc they have never told me the other? I don't want to make them uncomfortable

We learned one thing in Philosophy class that opened my eyes so to speak regarding pronouns because back then, I was very close minded. In short, don't totalize people, do not "swallow" them. Only they and only them can say who, what, or what you can refer to them are. If they say they're this but "they look like that," refer to them and treat them like the way they want to be treated, so even if they "look like a girl" but uses he/him pronouns, USE THEIR PREFERRED PRONOUNS. The moment you think you know someone better than themself is the moment you are ready to kill them, that's what the Naz*s did in a worst case scenario.

you dont get to dictate how other people speak about you, that is something a narcissist does. and we use non sexed when we don't know the person's sex, once we know then we use he or she.
