I’ve followed empty netters for a few years now and I’m so happy they haven’t betrayed me. Made me love them all the more. I was hesitant to watch because I thought it would be poorly done but it FLOORED me how good it is. The acting and writing is soooo good. Addicted.

And the fact every aspect of the show was thought out. The framing, the music choices, the lighting, the availability of ginger ale, etc. You can deep dive every piece of it like a literary analysis. This is tv that is meant to be WATCHED, not on in the background.

Also, the show is stunning. Visually and the soundtrack. My favorite thing are the metaphors and parallels in the episode. Such attention to detail. Nothing is spoon fed. I can’t wait for more episodes.

There’s a lot going on. I’m honestly blown away by the actors, the direction, the overall production quality of this show. Shot 6 episodes in just over 30 days?! That’s nuts. I look forward to watching both of them skyrocket but Connor is a true star.
