I think Jamaican black cake is the strongest and Haitian rum cake is the weakest….when it comes to rum cakes. The Haitian 🇭🇹 rum cake wasn’t strong to me but baby that Jamaican 🇯🇲 black cake had me tipsy

Not just that, they pour it over after the cake is baked, especially in the Bahamas. You’re supposed to eat it after a Sunday meal or Christmas Dinner and you go to sleep afterwards. You’re not supposed to do nothing after that, if you’re smart. 😏😏😏

FACTS!! I knew a Guyanese 🇬🇾 woman who was eight months pregnant and ate rum cake throughout her pregnancy. The baby was born with many birth defects. The doctor asked her if she drank alcohol during her pregnancy, and she said she only ate rum cake. The doctor then told her that this was the reason her baby had so many issues.
