As someone who experienced homelessness as a child, I feel like I show gratitude by cleaning my home and filling it with things that make my family happy. Heavy on “you’re safe, you’re not going anywhere” bc some of us didn’t have that for a long time. 💕

I switched my spending money to all cash a few years ago (the envelope system). I have an envelope called GIVE and every payday I take 10 $1 bills out at the ATM and carry it with me. I live in a big city and people are always asking for money. So I spend my 2 weeks btw paydays literally looking for people who need help and just handing it out. I’m not rich but I can afford $10.

I opened a really small saloon in the uk but I am a Nigerian immigrant literarily first gen immigrant so it’s hard but now the doors are open and it’s easy to just move straight into I need to fill these up with customers but when I don’t have customers I go in there just to sit in it
