I once went with my grandma at a kitchen party. And 2 women there were busy telling me I should always send Nsfas money to my grandmother. Firstly I replied and I said I'd love to do that the thing is with this Money I buy food, some clothes so that I look nice I don't wanna look like my problems that's why I use this little money to make myself look good. And also with this money I use it to print assignments etc.. So it's hard for me to send money. And that women was busy telling I should stop and send money to my grandma I should not care about clothes and stuff and she was making me feel guilty for using this money to myself by buying enough food for me and some clothes so that I won't look like my problems. Black parents like making us feel as If we owe them. And we are here because of their choices and they can't take the responsibilities of their choices
