I like how in the movie version, the Eclipse slowly gets redder and redder as more people die. Just a fun thing I saw

I always significantly preferred the eclipse from the films, honestly all of the astral elements from those films in general, the art direction is so interesting for it. I think the fact that it goes from blue to red in response to the sheer amount of bloodshed is very frightening

See if we watched 2013 we’d know it turns red once the sacrifice begins. Wasn’t that tone outta creative liberty, It’s simply better film making.

red gives off more cruel, brutal vibes. it makes you think a genuine slaughter is about to happen. meanwhile the purple one gives off a feeling of inevitability, like you CANT stop the thing thats about to happen. i love both
