My family owned a ladies retail shop for nearly 40 years. It was niche. We went to market - we knew our customers. We’d call them when certain items arrived that reminded us of them. We’d built relationships. Ladies would call & say were going to Nashville could you pull a few things that might work for me? I’ll come by Thursday at 3. We offered tailoring. I miss this type of experience.

I haven’t even been to Walmart since 2020. Everything I order is online, including toilet paper. It’s like the Zombie Apocalypse out there, and I’m perfectly fine on my compound.

definitely people will shop at stores if you have something beautiful different some quality decent prices not like everybody else and nobody wants to buy something wash it once and then it ends up in the garbage shop your local Main St that’s where you’re gonna find beautiful things not the mallnot in your typical Little corporate shops
