A refrigerator works by continuously moving heat from inside to outside using a refrigerant in a closed loop, relying on the principles of gas laws and phase changes (evaporation/condensation) to create cold.

Your filter is in the wrong place. It is between the condenser and the small copper tube(capillary) This way impurities does not enter the capillary tube, preventing blockage.

I think there's a correction in your diagram. the refrigerant passes through the filter dryer first before the capillary tube.

Please people do not turn down your thermostat to “speed up the compressor”. All that does is increase how long the compressor will run since it now has to cool to a lower temperature. In most cases resulting in a block of ice
