@ourvoice59: Fire Incident Update from Lagos Island The fire outbreak at the 22 storey Great Nigeria Insurance House on Martins Street, Lagos Island lasted for more than 10 hours before it was finally brought under control. Emergency responders worked through the night to contain the inferno. Although the fire is no longer active, significant damage was recorded. At least four nearby buildings were affected, including a church and a mosque. Residents and business owners are now assessing their losses after a sleepless night.
