@amnestyuk: Ain't that the truth. There are 14.2 million people living in poverty in the UK and 4.5 million of them are children. That's more than one in every 3 children. Amnesty research shows two-thirds of people in Britain are worried about affording the essentials, like heating and food, this winter. This is a political choice. The Government must and can do so much more to end poverty in the UK in 2026.
