We will never have AGI, and never have "true ai". Because when we have it, it will be considered "just an algorithm", not much more than some basic linear algebra. Current ai passes the Turing test and nobody seems to be impressed

Current AI isn’t artificial intelligence to me, more AK artificial knowledge, the intelligence side of it just isn’t, humans don’t compute every possible solution, only “likely” solutions from past experience, AI as I see it right now is nothing more than brute forcing a solution, that’s not intelligence.
