The second one is intellectualization. Thinking instead of feeling. Both areas are closely related to C-PTSD. This causes many people to over regulate in crisis and/or under-regulate in times of safety.

supporting and helping others? they don't want others to suffer from same things they did. anxiety attacks. random crying at midnight. emptiness.

yes I usually cry for small things but in difficult situations, such as someone passing away, betrayal and economic control I put myself together and stay focused ready to face everything

So apparently this is me, I get so overwhelmed by small things but I recently discovered I am absolutely amazing in a crisis. I had a cancelled flight, was helping people sort it out, moved myself onto a new flight at a different airport, that flight was cancelled so I ended up helping people with that too. I can do all of that, but someone talking harshly at me? Nope I’m off for a cry
