This video provides a practical guide on how to get a second opinion without the drama. Learn why good doctors should welcome a second opinion and why you shouldn't be afraid to ask. Get the exact scripts to use, whether you want to be direct or less direct. Understand that your insurance may even require it for certain procedures. This is a trending topic in patient empowerment. Remember, this is your body and your life. You have the right to be fully informed. No respectable second opinion was available for me I was dismissed and sometimes even threatened My ENT told me 4 months ago to MOVE NORTH. Not seek a second opinion north. I was in his chair explaining that I found a doctor north to help me. The Drโs response good and you should move north too. I laughed because I felt uncomfortable Then the doctor said, I am serious. He dropped me after this appointment in a very aggressive negative way while reporting false information n my medical records RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I asked to have the obvious records corrected I was escorted out

Hi ๐ lots of great advise! I donโt suppose you have a video on how to advocate with doctors who are reluctant to stop medications quickly, even when current health markers suggest they may no longer be needed? My husband was prescribed Blood Pressure meds, diabetes meds, and statins when he was overweight - heโs since lost significant weight, BP is normal, diabetes is in remission - yet doctors insist on very slow, one-by-one tapering. Any guidance would really help on what wording to use to speed the process (feels like they are just try to squeeze as many appointments as they can out of the situation)
