@drdavidabbasi: This appears to be a dorsally displaced distal radius fracture, a common injury after a fall or contact sport like wrestling. The visible deformity is due to the broken bone ends being out of alignment. In this clip, a closed reduction is performed to realign the fracture, which is an important first step in treatment. However, reduction alone is not the end of care. The patient will require X-rays before and after reduction to assess alignment and fracture stability. Depending on the fracture pattern, degree of displacement, involvement of the joint surface, and the patient’s age, surgical fixation with plates and screws may still be necessary to maintain proper alignment and restore function.
