THE LITTLE GIRL WHO SAID, “MOM, THE MADONNA SMILES AT ME.” 💙🙏 “One day, a woman gave my daughter an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and she immediately fell in love with it,” recalls her mother, Giovanna. “She asked her father to take her to see the Madonna. She even described what the future sanctuary would look like before its construction. Other unusual experiences, including mysterious fragrances and signs associated with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Bozzola in Garlasco, were also recounted. The touching story of this little girl, whose short life was marked by suffering, innocence, faith, and a profound love for the Blessed Virgin Mary, is featured in an issue of the Italian Marian magazine Maria con te. Her remarkable story was also preserved in a book written by her mother in collaboration with Caniato. The book was presented on June 6 at the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague in Arenzano, near Genoa, during a conference dedicated to the holiness of children. Her story reminds us that even a child, in the midst of great suffering, can become a beautiful witness of faith, courage, and love for the Blessed Mother.
