This this is called soft marketing. Soft marketing is when you quietly try to change the perception of something. It can be an item, a person, even a county. Soft target marketing is away to get it in front of lots of eyes and it’s done to desensitization it’s negative with visual overload and flooding the market with “whataboutisms” in comments to make people think, oh it’s ok.

It’s a German symbol necklace, when it came up on my page I immediately went and looked at the page. There was a disclaimer that although it may offend some in Western societies, it has different meanings in other countries. Sure, it was used way before 👨🏻✈️. Once it was used in Germany, you can’t use that rational.
