@bonita_farm: ALSO I do drape the lead rope over the neck while they are self loading just in case they do not decide to back off the trailer I can grab them and have the control, I always make sure they're in a leather/breakaway halter for loading so if they catch the lead rope or something happens, they don't get stuck. AND remember if the chest bar is down the side door needs to be closed, but if the chest bar is up, the side door can be open you just don't want your horse to think they can go flying out that door. some horses like the door open because then they can pop their heads out and look around and they don't feel confined others prefer to have the chest guard down to have more space to walk in. ##horsetok##horse##fyppppppppppppppppppppppp##fyp##fypシ゚viral
