Hey Quality People Let’s go back to June 6, 2016. I was walking out of federal prison with no home, no car, no bra, and not even a pair of panties. I had no idea how I was going to start over from scratch. But I knew two things: 1️⃣ I would never do anything again that would make me unavailable for my children. 2️⃣ I would never give up on creating the life I knew I deserved. So I got to work. And I haven’t stopped grinding since. Over the last 10 years, I have accomplished every single thing they said I couldn’t. ✔️ Built my own home from the ground up ✔️ Created a life filled with peace ✔️ Bought my dream vehicle ✔️ Bought my dream motorcycle ✔️ Wake up when I’m done sleeping instead of to an alarm clock ✔️ Travel the world whenever I choose But my greatest accomplishment isn’t any of those things. It’s knowing that I’m walking in my purpose. My purpose is to share how I learned to turn my pain into power and use that experience to help others find the funding, freedom, and opportunities they need so they never have to struggle the way my children and I did. Today I’m writing this from Tanzania 🇹🇿 This morning I brushed my teeth while giraffes peeked through my window. I soaked my feet in a bathtub while a giraffe ate food from above my head. This afternoon I practiced yoga while a tiger relaxed nearby in a tree. These are moments I can never get back. Money can be replaced. Time cannot. So as I continue celebrating life here in East Africa, I want to remind every single one of you: Never give up. Keep going. And never forget that you are worthy of the desires of your heart. #IAmHer #IMadeIt #africantiktok
