I have older children and I've been able to keep the magic alive. We still do gingerbread houses, decorate the tree, wear matching pajamas, watch movies, go to bed early and wake up excited for presents and holiday fun. It will always be what YOU make of it.

Speak for yourselves, I have looked forward to Christmas and decorating with my mother up until this year when she died in my arms in March. Now it feels like just another day, which is horrible because I have young kids who still need the magic and I have to fake it even though I'm dying or at this point dead inside.
