@imeasure_team: In this case, I measured the GPIO reset line to the display using an oscilloscope. The signal should be HIGH, but it was not. There was no proper reset, and no image. The problem was the PMU IC, not the CPU. After replacing the PMU IC, the reset line went HIGH, and the image came back. Without measuring, this phone could have been swapped, because all the values looked normal on the multimeter. What the multimeter cannot see, the oscilloscope can. Measurement saved this phone.
