Sending u big hugs cause I know exactly what ur feeling. My younger brother passed 5 years ago on Christmas Eve and every year I dread the holidays. I feel so bad for my kids because Christmas isn’t the same anymore. Every year I relive that day like it just happened. Our first year we booked a hotel 3 hours away from home with my parents and siblings and it helped a lot. We get away every other year now and we just hangout playing games, watching movies and eating Chinese food.

2nd year of with out my little brother. It doesn’t hurt any less than the first… you learn to adjust eventually.. and sometimes the grieve shows up every day sometimes it doesn’t show up for weeks..
