Once he injured the man and removed the gun from his possession that should have been it. He should have held the man at gun point until law enforcement arrived. There was no need for anything extra. But first shot was 100 percent justified doesn't matter if it was a plastic toy gun that looked real cause how are you supposed to know it's not real for sure until you are able to fully examine it.

If you threaten people with a weapon fake or not lethal force can be used against you. The extra shot at the end was to make sure he didn’t pull out a second weapon and fire back. Justifiable.

Ive seen cops shoot a man 30 times and call it justified. Easy to say not justified when not in that situation. To me at end looks excessive but dont know his frame of mind after being held at gun point himself
