The equality act wasn’t bad because it protects both sex discrimination and reassignment. The difficulty only arises because an exception to the protections include sex segregated spaces. It is the provisions that permit sex discrimination which have proved difficult.

My body was born wrong as male. Sex. My mind actions and life is that of a woman. Gender. So I am not changing my gender, I am bringing my sex in alignment. Hrt does not change gender characteristics, it does change sex ones. So i am not transgender I am transexual. The terminology is wrong. Sex. Male female. Gender man woman. Mounting neurological studies show us that Sex & Gender are sometimes binary but other times someone’s Gender denotes entirely outside their Biological sex. The consensus of biological scientists is that Trans women are women, and trans men are men. Studies have found that the brain structures of trans people closely resemble their cis counterparts even pre HRT. The fact that Intersex people exist and that it’s a typically “normal” part of human developmental diversity should show us Sex is at the very least a spectrum and not solely defined by Genitalia or biological sex.

Theres 2 defenitions lf gender, Gender which is your biological sex and gender which should be the more used one in which people present themselves on a large spectrum, like presenting as a woman or a man or quite neutral.
