@whyknotvegan: Part 2 is here!! Now you can make your own rug too 🫶🏻 Mine took 3 days to make and used up 5 t-shirts and lots of yarn scraps. I'm super happy with how it turned out!! Please let me know if the instructions are clear enough and feel free to ask anything! Practical info: ● Materials: - t-shirt yarn (cut from old clothes and fabrics) - scrap yarn (any yarn works, I used mostly cotton worsted weight; keep in mind that sections with thicker yarn will stretch out the rows to be wider) - scissors - crochet hook (I used 3.5mm, but it depends on the yarn you use and your tension) - darning needle to weave in the ends ● Skills: - slip knot - chain - single crochet - weaving in ends • Note: You might need to block your finished rug if it doesn't want to stay completely flat. To do so, make it fully wet and then squeeze out as much water as you can (a big towel helps here). Then, place it on the ground, weigh it down with some heavy objects and let it dry in this position to keep the shape.
