you dont do that. you tell them the entire restaurant is closing in 10mins and they need to settle their bill. people get the hint when you start turning off lights.

Literally had two tables that sat in my section for over two hours each. I was phased and wasn’t feeling well. I cleaned what parts of my section I could and told the closing server I was leaving. I closed out the tickets with both tables and left.

I make a point to treat servers with great respect. I always pay whenever there is a changeover so each server gets paid for their work...I always say please and thank you, and I never stay past close. how people treat servers is very telling about their character.
