Well I know Nissan gets a lot of hate for many things. But the Frontier has always been a reliable truck. In my opinion as an automotive technician I do say the Nissan Frontier is a Superior truck to the Toyota Tacoma.

I got a new Tacoma in 24. I just got base 4x4 dbl cab. No complaints, besides all the interior plastic. Rides nice, handles good in snow/ice. Backseat a lil tight, but it’s a 9/10 for me.

I still like the Gladiator for mid-size. Ranger Raptor is the best value but if I ever bought a mid-size I'd get a fun little Gladiator.

This sounds like a Toyota commercial… I own a 2025 Nissan frontier and this mid size truck is worth every penny.. 90 k miles no problems .

I have never bought anything that CR recommends or doesn’t recommend. I really don’t trust CR, IMO they have bashed the American brands for as long as I can remember and I buy what I want and like and I buy a warranty
