what it does is take the unquantifiable force applied, which has zero consistency between chiros and will even vary day to day for the same chiro, and distribute that into the table rather than into the patient, producing an external noise which stimulates similar internal mechanisms as one would experience through a cavitation, I.E. smoke and mirrors. its called physics and it was a prerequisite for me in my undergrad....
