Literally tell them you don’t want to be there. Tell them you think this is going to be extremely boring to you and you don’t think you can sit there and pay attention and on top of that it’s going to be a burden on you to even come to court because of budget constraints (babysitter). Any lawyer is going to reject you strictly off the basis of not wanting an inattentive. Indecisive.

Don’t get out.. I have been there and wanted to get out of it but I actually got picked to be on the jury and it was actually pretty entertaining to say the least.. 😂😂

Most people who are summoned for an actual jury selection do not get selected. You’re probably only looking at two to three hours. But, just be honest.

I walked in the door and immediately told them I have severe anxiety in large crowds and they said have a nice day. No questions asked and an I hope you feel better. I was sweating a little bc it’s Florida lol
