Oh wow! I love learning new dental things daily on this app 😅 My son had his tongue tie lasered at 6 months and I asked if they could do his lip too and they said they don’t because sometimes they fall and it breaks itself. (I had concerns about the lip tie aiding in trapping anything that could cause his teeth to decay as they came in) Would have been more helpful if they explained that this is maybe why they didn’t want to cut it at 6 months incase it did cause issues with how his teeth would come in etc.

A have a 100% deep bite, crowding, and my teeth aren’t straight. Medicaid rejected me and my appeals because I don’t meet the criteria for braces. I can’t afford to get braces and am very insecure about it. Can any recommend me anything or something really price friendly?

What about wisdom teeth that coming in at a angle and I’ve had two dentist say it’d be best to remove wisdom teeth as they’re no longer needed. I had my bottom two removed. Thought I had my top ones but then had them come through. Would you recommend removing them?

That first one is exactly why I lost ALL faith and just now am gaining that trust back enough to get an appointment. I had a dentist when I was 12 removing PERMANENT TEETH before even trying or CONSIDERING filling it… I haven’t been back in 10 YEARS but I’m getting an appointment soon hopefully. This administration raised my dental insurance by 4x but I’m trying..
