I think its bc deep down we know one day it wont be like that anymore. one day our parents will be gone and it's so hard to wrap my mind. days are cut short and counted with them depending on how much we visit.

My parents are both gone. I cry leaving the cemetery. Every gathering or holiday isn’t the same without them. I have my moments of breakdown wishing they were both here. Enjoy your moments, cherish them. ❤️
