Unpopular opinion but I feel like it’s good for EVERYONE to work fast food/retail at some point in there life bc it makes you see a difference perspective and gain a bit more empathy and patience for places

McDonald’s was my first job at 16, I loved and hated it. Loved the pay but hated my job 🤣. Def felt overworked but that check was fat every time.

im a Department manager at mcdonald's i treasure the "minors" or red hats (kids 14/15). they try hard and some perform better then some adults we have. when they have the 16th birthday and I give them q regular hat I try not to cry. im only 33 but they arr like my kids especially when I am a weekend closing manager. I train them on everything and watch them fly

I started at Arby’s when I freshly turned 14 and they didn’t hire minors bc of issues but they gave me a chance and now I’m becoming a manager at 18

mcdonalds ruined me as a person.. I was good at my job the leader board hated to see me coming but.. i was a swing shift manager and felt like my whole life was just mcdonalds so I had to go.. Now im a third shift FSL at arbys and when I tell you my joh is slept on 😭
