@kendrxkn9e3: Battling sweat is one of the worst parts of being an amputee (for me). Since I’m so active, I’m constantly dumping sweat out of my liner so it doesn’t slide down. I use a roll on prescription strength antiperspirant, and it only helps marginally. When my liner slides down, my socket doesn’t fits the correct way, and it gives me blisters. The damp, dark environment also makes me prone to fungal infections, which I’m currently fighting right now with cream and surgical soap. However, I try to focus on the positives and not let it keep me from doing what I set out to do. #amputeelife #amputeeproblems #oneleg #prosthesis #amputee
