The thing that hurts is that Luke didn’t even get a chance to experience any of this because he was gone too soon. As childish as I may sound, but it sounds like it’s like she making it his fault that he couldn’t get to grow with her. I do think Larry is the best choice. It still hurts tho

honestly eternity reminded me of steve rogers and peggy carter - first love, a promise that never came, ‘died’ at war, remarried, had kids, then the first love came back again. except this time, steve was waiting to die to reunite with peggy as he mourns for the life he could’ve had. In peggy’s eternity would she choose steve?
