if I'm not mistaken, I believe the child was already stabbed in the head before he got shot. In a situation like this, the officer had only a second to decide if his life was in danger or not and the suspect was only around the corner. he could come out with the same knife and attacked the officer. the officer clearly was devastated after realizing what happened, he didn't mean to. give this man some grace.

we do gotta realize cops have a hard job and have to deal with situations that are out of this world and they are still only human. They are the first to see the worst of the worst. And dealing with the pressure of making fatal mistakes I couldn't imagine the stress. speaking on the good cops of course
