Drew Barrymore is probably the only child star that managed to successfully transition from child to adult star and stay "normal". But she has had major issues to deal with too. I can't think of anyone else who managed it

I watched a documentary on child stars. She wasn’t on camera but Ron Howard’s mom was quoted as saying they made sure that Ron was never the breadwinner, they always lived on his actor father Rance’s income.

I’ve got a Lost Boys story… my mom worked on the set. I remember her saying that she really thought Haim was a nice kid. Also, they originally offered the role of Star to Alison Eastwood.
