I think you get some residual condensation carryover from the EGR cooler that hits the heated part of that NOX sensor and that is what is killing them.

I believe, and this is my opinion. After treatment is not building high of temp. Causing sensors to go erratic. And that is caused by excessive idle time and the after treatment building proper temp
