This is why diesel engines should only be in trucks and only bought if you tow stuff. Plus egr and def need to be thrown out.

Idling is the death of these don’t let a truck with emissions idle for more then 5-10min max even when it’s cold out it’s better to drive them slow and easy then let them idle and build up like thid

That’s why diesel emissions requirements are so awful. Yeah the light driving does this some but what’s really killing it is having to cycle the same sooty air through multiple times before it goes out the exhaust

A weight reduction helps this too. But I also agree don’t be scared to let her run. Just make sure she’s nice and warm first😉
