I’m 29, married, and I’m utterly obsessed with my mom, cuddling watching a movie while I type this. Her character and integrity is unmatched in every area of her life and that has made me trust her beyond measure. So I want to go to her, lean on her, learn from her, be like her. I’m 27 and my mom is still my best friend. I was able to tell her anything without her overreacting. She would explain why it wasn’t safe/good idea then choose how to handle it. I was never afraid to tell her things. I’m raising 2 girls now and I hope to do the same thing.

Knowing that I am literally never walking on eggshells if I come to her with anything! Not saying you have to agree or blindly support everything but make sure you always make her feel like you’re there to listen and you’re not her enemy if a disagreement arises!

My mom is truly my best friend. She was loving, accepting but made sure I knew right from wrong. She would’ve accepted me for whoever I became, but she always tried to guide me to my full potential.
